So General Conference weekend, Zack went out of town on a school trip for the weekend. When he got back after three days, I was a MESS. Cami hadn't napped well in two months and I completely blew my lid as the kids misbehaved and threw fits one after another. I literally felt in the pit of despair...sobbing, screaming at times (awesome)...I wanted to quit and walk out of the house. I said more than one pleading prayer and went into my room where Cami was having a meltdown and said a prayer with her that she'd be able to fall asleep and nap. She fell asleep within a few minutes, and things looked up for a few hours until Zack got home and I completely fell apart again. Anyways...needless to say, it was a rocky weekend, and I was grateful for what I did hear of Conference. I had to post this picture Carson drew while Zack was gone. Notice my face??? He also drew the baby crying, but I'd say Cami was the one doing the most crying...well, maybe tied with me. :)
Things have been better since then...I've done whatever it takes to get Cami to take a nap almost every day. We've all done soooo much better since then. And Carson has finally gotten pretty much used to his long kindergarten days. Here's another picture he drew of our family soon after Zack got home. Funny huh? I love the "Carson" that's crossed out and "Cami" written in.

When I first started jogging again, we went to Zack's school and jogged at the new track that's right across the street. The kids had fun jumping on the mats and running around.

Great up date. Loved all the pictures - even the pictures of Carson drawing you with a frown -hang in there Dani. Don't worry all moms have their hard days and breakdowns My boys have drawn a frowny face on me before too....but I have found my sons to be so forgiving and loving even on my hardest days. Have fun in Maryland.
Way too many great pictures to comment on. Loved the one of the kids hugging Zack's legs at the track. Loved too many of baby Chelsea's smiles! Loved Carson's drawings too!
I hope your trip to Maryland was wonderful. Heaven knows it was probably the easiest flight you've taken in a while--with only 1 kid!! :) Miss you!
